Palette is a browser extension that extracts color palettes from images, video frames, and screen regions you choose, and lets you save, organize, and export them.
Palette does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data with anyone. Everything it stores lives only in your own browser, on your own device. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third parties involved at any point.

Palette requests access to all websites because its core feature —
right-click any image, on any site, to extract its colors — only works
if the extension can run on any page you visit. It does not use this
access to monitor browsing, collect history, or read page content in
the background; it activates only when you invoke one of its
features.chrome.storage.local
API.Both are local to your browser profile on your device. Palette has no backend server, and nothing you save is ever uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the extension removes this data (per Chrome's standard extension-storage behavior).
Palette includes an optional "Export board as JSON" feature. This creates a file on your own device that you choose to save, share, or transfer — Palette itself never sends this data anywhere. The same applies to any other export (CSS, Tailwind, ASE, ACO, images) — all are local file downloads you initiate.
Palette does not integrate with, send data to, or share data with any third-party service, analytics provider, or advertising network.
